About us
At Dutch-Bangla Pack Limited (DBPL), we believe education is essential for personal development and stronger communities. Through our Scholarship Program, supported by the LC Support Foundation, we help reduce financial barriers to education for the children of DBPL employees and children in need from the surrounding community.
The program supports students from play group through Grade 12 (approximately ages 4–18). Launched in 2023 with 30 students, the program was expanded in 2024 with an annual budget of €25,000 and is implemented in partnership with the AMDA Foundation. During this phase, 189 children of DBPL employees received general scholarships, while 20 children with Down syndrome from the local community received dedicated support. In addition, merit-based scholarships were awarded to 111 children of DBPL employees and 5 children from the community.
An annual assessment process ensures the program remains fair and responsive, allowing new students to join while those completing Grade 12 transition to higher education. Through this initiative, DBPL continues to support education, inclusion, and long-term community development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education.
